DevOps/Build & Release Engineer for a Cloud-based Smart Car Technology company

You will be part of the DevOps team helping to bridge operations & development in order to improve our build, integration & deployment procedures, automated build pipeline, and CI/CD systems.

You will be working closely with development, QA and product teams to properly and efficiently build and deploy releases throughout the software development life cycle as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work in a dynamic and complex software build environment and enjoys optimizing build environments for speed and reliability.

Must Have Skillsets:
• 5+ years of DevOps and/or build & release experience
• Deep understanding of version control systems (Git, SVN etc.), including branching and merging strategies
• Experience with continuous delivery and integration tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory
• Experience with build/SCM tools: Maven, Gradle, NPM
• Experience writing build scripts using Python, Unix Shell (bash,ksh) or perl
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Chef/Puppet/Ansible
• Hands-on Unix/Linux knowledge
• Experience with AWS capabilities and architecture
• Ability to provide after-hours support as needed for emergency or urgent situations

Nice to have Skillsets:
• Working knowledge of modern application monitoring tools (ELK)
• Working knowledge of DB/Data Platforms: Kafka, MongoDB, Hadoop, HBase, Solr
