Java Backend Developer for Cloud Security Start-up

You will join a multi-cloud security and micro-segmentation software team to support business scalability, cybersecurity, and compliance goals.

Must have skillsets:
• 4+ years of experience
• Extensive experience in modeling, designing, and implementing backend applications with core Java language is a must
• Scripting knowledge using Bash, Maven, Python automation
• Proven track record working on Automation Algorithms, Multithreading, Troubleshooting, fault-tolerance and performance
• Open Source technologies and tools like JSON/Jackson, Hibernate, Guava, JUNIT, Kafka, Zookeeper, Databases (SQL, NoSQL), Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, VCS (GIT)
• Networking concepts, EMS and Security

Desired Skillsets:
• Architecture and design tools like UML is nice to have
• Cloud Computing concepts in one or more clouds Vmware/AWS/Azure/Openstack. Usage of SDKs is great plus
• Micro-Services distributed architecture is a plus
