Java, Spring Microservices Engineer for a Software Management Services company in Palo Alto, Ca.

Summary

Seeking an experienced Backend Java software developer (Spring, Microservices) to contribute, maintain and support existing cloud-based services. You will join a dynamic Cloud Services team, using the latest technology and tools to build high-quality, cross-platform solutions that delight our customers.

Required Skillsets
• 3+ years working experience in core Java and Spring Framework
• 3+ years working experience within microservice architecture, specifically utilizing REST services, XML, and JSON.
• Excellent programming discipline: data structures, complexity analysis, object-oriented principles, design patterns, and unit testing.
• Good understanding of O/R mapping concepts and tools (Hibernate, JPA).
• Knowledge in developing applications which are deployed in AWS.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with an Agile development team with rapid iterations.
• Engineering experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

Nice to have Skillsets
• MySQL experience preferred, or knowledge of databases
• Financial Software Domain experience Is nice to have
• Team player with can-do attitude to independently own and drive projects.
• Ability to work well with others in a geographically distributed team.
