JavaScript React/Angular Software Engineer for a Global Enterprise Technology Company

Responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations
• Independently conceptualize, design, develop and test major features and software enhancements to deliver complex changes
• Develop and support projects throughout all phases of the development life cycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product and program managers, engineers and QA to deploy innovative solutions to meet business unit requirements
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Investigate live application issues by performing root cause analysis and driving the problem resolution process through to completion
• Lead a project team or other web application engineers to develop high quality solutions
• Mentor and guide junior developers in coding and design methodology and page performance, and provides technical oversight for features
• Architect and develop an intuitive, easy to use interface to manage a clustered, highly available and scalable storage software systems

Must Have Skillsets
• 4+ yrs experience UI Development
• Highly proficient in Advanced JavaScript, with proficiency in ES6, 7, 8
• Experienced developing web applications using Ember.js, React 2+, Angular 2+, or similar frameworks (any of these)
• Knowledgeable in front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation
• Strong skills with web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JSON and experience with building reusable UI components
• Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, Web Services and XML
• Understanding of UI design and usability principles
• Solid understanding and application of design patterns and UML
• Experience with front-end visualizing and charting libraries like Highcharts, D3
• Deep understanding of web standards, protocols, and cross-browser compatibility issues
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired Skillsets
• Experience with iOS/Android mobile application development in React Native
• Experience with browser based management interfaces for a storage, networking or virtual platform system
