Python Test Automation, Data Processing Software Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA

Description of Role:

Work with existing test automation uses Objective-C (low layer), Swift (test harness, UI interaction) and Python (service for data processing and uploading) in a client/host setup. Initial focus for this role is to help maintain and expand host side Python code to parse time series data, better handle data upload errors. Candidate will likely be involved in Swift programming for expanding test harness and or adding additional tests. Candidate would be working in support of existing test automation owner.

Must Haves:
• Python development for end to end application (not just scripting)
• Data parsing (using Python) (any of: plist, json, xml, csv, txt)
• C/C++, Objective-C working experience OR Swift working experience
• BASH knowledge
• Solid objected oriented design fundamentals

Bonus:
• Testing experience
• Test automation experience
• Lead automation efforts. Note this role is not a lead role, it’s a supporting role
