Senior DevOps, Linux Jenkins Engineer for R&D Group

Responsibilities:
• As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for creating a deployment framework for our cloud-scale data analytics platform and contribute to our overall production pipeline:
• Must possess ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Must have an excellent understanding and hands-on experience with design and development best practices
• Must be a team player and a leader who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication, including a willingness to occasionally work in a pair-programming environment
• Must possess strong analytical and technical documentation skills
• Must possess ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Experience with distributed systems or a large enterprise background

Qualified candidates must demonstrate the following:
• Excellent Linux (CentOS) System Administration experience
• Must have strong Python scripting and working with Jenkins
• Develop, monitor, manage and support our infrastructure platform to service the needs of the DevOps infrastructure, CI, development & Automation Teams
• Participate in code reviews and architecture reviews
• Oversee server builds, deployments, packaging, integration, automation and releases of our Software
• Candidate will be using Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible on a regular basis
• Strong experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, CMake, Python
• Hands-on experience in container orchestration platform or Infrastructure Provisioning like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Ansible
• Hands-on experience in production environments, both deploying and troubleshooting applications in Linux environment
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, OpenStack or other public/private cloud environment
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience working as a DevOps Engineering, Build/CI & Operations skills
• Exceptional candidates will also be able to demonstrate many of the following:
• Experience running platforms at scale
• Hands on knowledge on virtualization platforms, such as Nutanix
