Technical Writer for Data Analytic Software in San Francisco, CA

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with passion and drive, technical aptitude, and excellent writing skills to join our Marketing team to write excellent Data Analytic Content for advanced Software.

Responsibilities
• Relevant to the following audience:

o SQL and BI developers

o Data Engineers

o Data scientists

o IT professionals
• Work closely with the product, marketing, customer success and support teams to produce high-quality technical content such as:

o Technical White Papers

o Product Release Notes

o Technical Data Sheets

o Technical Blog Posts

o Best Practices Guides

o Online Tutorials

o Product Demos

o Sample Program/Codes

Required Skill set
• 2+ years documenting sophisticated technologies for developers and IT professionals, or equivalent work experience (as a software developer, product manager, or solutions architect, for example)
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Good in words and visual representations
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Comfortable with the following technologies:

o Programming languages/APIs (Python and SQL HIGHLY preferred)

o ETL/ELT and BI technologies.

o Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, etc.).

o Big Data analytics, machine learning, and statistics (Spark, R, etc.).

o Database drivers/connectors (JDBC, ODBC, etc.)
