THE WORLD CHANGES
ONE PERSON AT A TIME.

Diversity Drives Success

“Innovative companies are taken to be those with fresher product portfolios, and unsurprisingly they turned out to be more profitable, too. We found that indeed there is a statistically significant relationship between diversity and innovation outcomes in all countries examined.”
Harvard Business Review, 2018

Across industries, around the world, the data is proving that increased diversity results in greater innovation and greater innovation leads to better financial performance. It’s no longer a theory; diversity leads to profitability. And, beyond that, it also leads to greater resilience.

Companies that foster diversity have better financials and are better able to withstand normal economic vagaries and large-scale catastrophes, like the global pandemic.

As a diverse supplier OSI fosters this idea everywhere; in our business approach, in our business strategy, and in our day-to-day operations. Beyond believing in the multiplier effect, we see it work every day. One of our primary goals is to improve the performance of every company we touch, and as part of that commitment we encourage all of our clients, partners, and suppliers to take the Multiplier Effect Pledge.

“Inclusivity means not ‘just we’re allowed to be there,’ but we are valued. I’ve always said: smart teams will do amazing things, but truly diverse teams will do impossible things.”

 Claudia Brind-Woody, IBM

Diversity starts with people, but its power goes well beyond that. When diversity means the acceptance of myriad ideas, perspectives, attitudes, thinking, cultures, and beliefs, the multiplier effect becomes exponential. We see it this way; the more companies are genuinely inclusive everywhere, the better they perform, the more resilient they are, and the greater their ability to serve global markets. We call it diversity everywhere.

As a supplier to the global technology industry, we are intensely focused on positive results. That focus has taught us a simple truth: diversity everywhere creates better outcomes.

Global technology companies staffed by diverse teams creates a better future for all of us.

Innovative companies are taken to be those with fresher product portfolios, and unsurprisingly they turned out to be more profitable, too. We found that indeed there was a statistically significant relationship between diversity and innovation outcomes in all countries examined.

Diversity in People

You’re in the right place – you’ve reached OSI, you’re looking for the best people for a project; perhaps you’re a job hunter searching for that elusive role. Well, our business is people: people with different ideas, unique experiences, and perspectives who are empowered to engage in new ways to think and foster creativity.

We believe diversity in people not only allows us to succeed, perform our best, and be happy but enables our clients to achieve and grow. Company cultures that promote diversity and inclusion flourish with innovation, new possibilities and allow incredible business growth. After all, in the technology industry, we create products for the global market; doesn’t it make sense to have a diverse community create them?

At OSI, we are all about success. Whether it’s providing some of the best talent in the tech industry for our clients or if you’re a job hunter giving you access to the top jobs in your specialism. Across sectors worldwide, the data proves that increased diversity results in more significant innovation and greater innovation led to better financial performance. It’s no longer a theory; diversity leads to profitability. And, beyond that, it also leads to greater resilience.

We are all about profitability. We realize that companies that foster diversity have better financials and can withstand the usual economic quirks, even large-scale catastrophes like the global pandemic.

We are more than just a diverse supplier of amazing talent; OSI fosters this idea everywhere, in our business approach, in our business strategy, and in our day-to-day operations. Beyond believing in the multiplier effect, we see it work every day. One of our primary goals is to improve the performance of every company we touch. As part of that commitment, we encourage all clients, partners, and suppliers to take the Multiplier Effect Pledge.

Diversity Everywhere. Inclusion for Everybody.

We create inclusive and equitable environments. All employees feel valued and respected, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, education, or disability. We are committed to a nondiscriminatory approach and provide equal opportunity for employment and advancement across the company. It is why every day, we work to ensure all voices are valued and heard. When our people and our company cultures are diverse and inclusive, we thrive and deliver our best service to the community, the business world, and every individual in it.

Take a Stand for Social Justice

As protests spread across the world against police brutality, systemic racism, and injustice, it’s an excellent time for our community. Let’s reflect on what we can do to empower all people of color within our communities and our world. To accomplish this, we must be more than “not racist;” everyone must fight to be actively anti-racist. It’s easy to think, “oh, it’s systemic, so there is nothing I can personally do about it,” but that’s not true. We believe the answer is for everyone, individually, to be more aware of how the “systemic” racism affects us in our day-to-day interactions with people, all people.

If every one of us refused to participate in the “system,” Social Justice would predominate almost immediately.

We can make that happen. Let’s remember, we, the people, made the system, not the other way around.

Take the Pledge. Help One Person. Please.

We ask that every person in every company we touch take The Multiplier Effect Pledge to sponsor one person different from them. Mentor the next generation and challenge peers to do the same. We do it and, while it might take some time from our busy schedules, it’s for the greater good, and that creates more opportunity for our own company. We know that OSI’s success will be exponentially increased if, by achieving it, we improve the world in which we all live.

The world changes one person at a time. Be the change you want to see in the world.
