Data/ Business Analyst for Global Automotive Company in Raymond, OH
Join an innovative, globally known automotive company as a Data Analyst focusing on trends, growth patterns, and new model development. We’re looking for a data enthusiast that understands raw and manipulated data. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects and models, projecting any issues and identifying countermeasures through data. You will support the Quality Control department, and this role has growth potential over time. The team is highly collaborative team who is looking for a creative individual who can interject with new ideas.
80% - Look at macro trends and growth patterns; based on the U.S. market and U.S. auto industry from data and forecast to the best of your ability to present for new model development.
20% - Manage and work on tool calibration.
Collaborate with numerous team members, several departments and Executive’s alike presenting your data.
Create reports in Power Point using Excel datacharts & present findings when required.
Manipulate and analyze data.
Intelligence gathering by maintaining a thorough understanding of the automotive market, consumers, consumer preferences and company strategy.
Report findings on a regular basis, including weekly and monthly reports.
Creation of data queries, filtering, macros to achieve desired result.
Import dataorganize it to identify trends & draw conclusions.
Create various charts in Microsoft Excel (line graph, bar graph, pivot tables, etc.) using large amounts of data.
Collaborate among various department/divisions across automotive company and this may include offshore teams when needed.
Complete data analysis by identifying, analyzing, developing predictive models, and interpreting trends or patterns using data sets of varying size and complexity.
1-2+ years of experience within several areas such as marketing, public relations, consumer behavior, macro trends, data analysis, social media data analytics and/ or building Excel models based on several layers of data (internship experience is proficient).
Strong background in Microsoft Excel and know how to execute but not limited to line graph, bar graph, pivot tables, etc.) using large amounts of data.
Ability to translate data of varying complexity into compelling stories/reports (PowerPoint) and present findings to engineers, designers, analysts, and executives.
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
Strong data management skills.
Curiosity and passion for consumer research and/ or the future of the automotive industry.
Flexibility in handling multiple projects with variable/shifting deadlines.
BS in Computer Science, Data/ Information Management, Statistics, or related field highly desired.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
Location: Raymond, Ohio (Hybrid schedule 2 days/ week on site, Flexible start time between 8-10am with up to 10 hours of overtime/ week)
Duration: 1-2 year contract or Full-Time
