Business Analyst – Clinical Trial Management Systems
Summary:
Bring your familiarity with clinical trial management systems, understanding of clinical trial conduct and operations of clinical trials to streamline processes, ensure efficiency and bring a modern approach to the Clinician Trials department of the nation’s leading not-for-profit, integrated health. A thorough understanding of troubleshooting software solutions and software implementation will ensure success in this position. Candidates with 3+ years of combined experience in data management/ analyst work, project management related duties, business analysis, knowledge on software development life cycle management and process improvement services are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Manage the CTMS (clinical trial management system), Regulatory System and confirm what is needed to ensure work flow, for the Clinician Trials department.
Negotiate with clinical trial teams with IT staff and Project Manager on training, implementation of data, and more as needed.
Assist the Project Manager who is incorporating and transitioning new technology (tools and more) related to the clinical world to help clinicians in the field, when they’re in the office, organize documentation, interviews from patients and more.
Software and infrastructure move: assist in moving data from a secured environment to the Cloud Service/ similar and back, ensuring all data is secured at all times.
Troubleshoot software solutions.
Support software implementation including translating end-user needs into required functionality and facilitating adoption in collaboration with other team members.
Work with the Ecosystem and IT Systems Project Managers to provide business and data analysis related to IT project management for implementation and optimization of components in the CT digital ecosystem.
Understand the capabilities of the software platform, provide troubleshooting and support to users with other members of the team.
Security limits: there is PHI involved and overall, highly sensitive information; you will learn the organizations policies to ensure everything being implemented works together with their policies.
Required Skillset:
Familiarity with clinical trial management systems, understanding of clinical trial conduct, operations of clinical trials.
3+ years of related Analyst experience.
IT project management related experience, ideally related to implementing and optimizing components in CT digital ecosystems.
Experience working with Tableau or similar analytic reporting software.
Experience working on any kind of benchmarking and/ or milestone reporting software to show metrics and progress.
Team oriented contributor with strong organization and communication skills.
Duration: Contract for 6 months
Location: Oakland, CA (hybrid schedule 1-2 days in office/ week)
