Project Manager – Clinical Trial Management Systems

Summary:

Bring your technical expertise to streamline processes, ensure efficiency and bring a modern approach to the Clinician Trials department of the nation’s leading not-for-profit, integrated health. Technical expertise in system design and architecture, a thorough understanding of troubleshooting software solutions and software implementation will ensure success in this position. Candidates with 5+ years of combined experience in project management, business analysis, software process quality, knowledge on software development life cycle management and process improvement services are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Run the CTMS project lifecycle and develop integrations with all other digital ecosystem software.
Work not only as the primary software implementer but also be a partner to the clinical team to implement solutions for them.
Identify, incorporate, and transition new technology (tools and more) related to the clinical world to help clinicians in the field, when they’re in the office, organize documentation, interviews from patients and more.
Identify tools, explain how it can be integrated and brought into the environment, translate how the tool is going to support their data, medical information, clinicians’ access, make reporting easier (including your own reporting if needed), approvals and demonstrate what it can do on the backend as well as what you see in the output.
Software and infrastructure move: move their data from a secured environment to the Cloud Service/ similar and back, ensuring all data is always secured.
Provide support and manage areas of System Design/ Architecture.
Troubleshoot software solutions.
Support software implementation including translating end-user needs into required functionality and facilitating adoption in collaboration with other team members.
Work with the Ecosystem Project Manager to provide technical expertise and IT project management for implementation and optimization of components in the CT digital ecosystem.
Security limits: there is PHI involved and overall highly sensitive information; you will learn and become an expert on the organizations policies to ensure everything being implemented works together with their policies.

Required Skillset:

Previous clinical trials experience in a similar role providing project management, solutions management, and IT solutions to a clinical trials program.
IT project management experience related to implementing and optimizing components in clinical trial digital ecosystems.
Self-starter that can look at the department needs as a whole to identify what processes can be improved, streamlined and what tools can be implemented. Research may be required in this area for identifying specific tools to improve processes.
5+ years of experience in system design/ architecture project manager/ related position.
Ability to present to Physicians and Data Scientists at all levels, presenting clearly with excellent written professional correspondence.
Experience working with Tableau or similar analytic reporting software.
Experience working on any kind of benchmarking and/ or milestone reporting software to show metrics and progress.
Team oriented contributor with strong organization and communication skills.

Bonus Skillset:
Training experience: train staff members once a process has been developed and a tool has been identified, create proper documentation that can be shared and used moving forward.

Duration: Contract for 6 months
