Job Description:
POSITION TITLE: Cellular Test Engineer (Full Time; Multiple Openings)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for providing cellular/mobile testing services relating to the testing of cellular connectivity of next generation smartphones and other mobile devices.
JOB DUTIES: Create test plans and test cases for new and unreleased software for mobile devices on a weekly and daily basis; Conduct field testing of software for mobile devices as well as lab-based log analysis using proprietary software; Perform functional 5G and 4G tests, KPI (Key Performance Indicator) tests for mobile devices, and perform data testing; Perform carrier-specific testing; Perform test automation using shell scripting and python; Use various applications for log analysis to generate reports on a daily and weekly basis; Check software for any crashes or issues and resolve said issues; Generate test results; Present test findings, details, and results to the team on a daily and weekly basis; and Work cross-functionally with other teams, including project management, other testing teams, and software teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Knowledge of or experience with the following is required: Lab-based log analysis, KPI Testing, LTE, 5GNR, 5G/LTE Stack, Functional 4G/5G testing
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/
QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Master of Science degree or foreign academic equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or closely related field plus two (2) years of relevant, progressive experience is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable.

SALARY RANGE /
RATE OF PAY: $129,792 - $132,000 per year. Employer will meet or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
